Zhirinovsky: Like Baku and Yerevan...

Vladimir Zhirinovsky, a member of the Russian State Duma, LDPR leader, spoke about the reasons for Moscow's forgiveness of debt from a number of foreign countries.

Axar.az reports that the Russian politician said that they did so "in order not to go to other superpowers".

Speaking on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, Zhirinovsky said, for example, that Russia or Kyrgyzstan would "repay the debt" if Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan did not forgive the debt.

“Here we are keeping them with us, like Azerbaijan and Armenia. There are still unresolved issues, but Armenia has not yet attempted to join NATO, and Azerbaijan maintains friendly relations with Turkey but maintains normal relations with us, "Vladimir Zhirinovsky said.
