Volodin is re-elected in Yerevan

Speaker of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), speaker of the Russian Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, will nominate for the post of chairman of the assembly.

Axar.az reports that the decision on the election of Volody will be made at the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the CSTO in Yerevan today.

Kyrgyzstan's Speaker Dastanbek Jumabekov made a proposal to elect Volodyin as chairman of the assembly.

Volodin was elected chairman of the Assembly in 2016. His tenure expires in 2019.
