US must recognize Crimea as a Russian land - US diplomat

Former US diplomat Dennis Ortblad called on the country to recognize Crimea as an integral part of Russia.

Axar.az reports Ortblad mentioned this opinion in his article on "National Interest".

According to him, this step should be taken to improve relations between the West and Moscow.

“Unlike sanctions, this step will be beneficial. We must recognize Crimea as an integral part of Russia. Russians have always dominated its population, ”said the diplomat.
