As the leader of a NATO member state, President of France Emmanuel Macron is able to assess the alliance.

Axar.az reports Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said this.

“When it comes to medical issues, I don't want to get into any polemics regarding diagnoses. Macron's diagnosis is obvious, he has the right to say it. He knows NATO better than I do because he represents one of the leading NATO countries. As our foreign policy doctrine shows, it is within our interests to build a coherent, equally beneficial partnership with NATO. Therefore, we will not force ourselves to wait for NATO to recover, "Lavrov said.
