Eastern Partnership should move to a new level - EU

The future of the European Union is closely linked to its neighbors and partners.

Axar.az reports these words are included in the letter sent by the newly elected head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen to the EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Oliver Varhelyi.

The letter also touched upon the Eastern Partnership. She said the Eastern Partnership should move to a new level.

Leyen said a new package for long-term political goals should be developed by mid-2020.
