Europe is increasing its foreign policy spending

The European Commission will increase the costs of EU foreign policy activities.

Axar.az reports this was stated by Ursula Fon der Leyen, the future chairman of the European Commission, during a speech at the Paris Forum. She said spending would be increased by 30%:

“I would like the EU to have a real geopolitical role. This role should be applicable to everything from foreign policy to trade, humanitarian assistance, and security. Therefore, within the new budgetary project, Europe will increase foreign spending by 30%.”
