Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has received Speaker of the Kazakh Senate Dariga Nazarbayeva, who is on an official visit to the country.

Axar.az reports that Bilateral relations and other issues were discussed at the meeting.

The parties agreed to create joint working groups on promising areas of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Armenia.

Nazarbayev said Kazakhstani President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev would visit Armenia next year and thanked Sargsyan for the warm welcome.

Dariga Nazarbayeva is the daughter of the former leader of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev.
