Malaysia condemns Israeli attacks in Gaza Strip

Malaysia on Saturday condemned Israeli attacks in the occupied Gaza Strip.

Axar.az reports citing Anadolu Agency.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said the recent attacks of Israel targeting civilians and children in Gaza are against international law.

"Malaysia reiterates that it is strongly against the ongoing Israeli blockade in Gaza which causes great humanitarian suffering and difficulties for the Gaza people and humanitarian aid organizations,” the statement said.

It added: “Malaysia calls on the international community to work for the end of illegal occupation of Israel and the establishment of independent Palestine state."

The statement also urged restraint for the parties to avoid further civilian casualties.
