The recognition of Jerusalem as the capital - Pompeo

The US decision on Israeli settlements has no effect on the border with Palestine. This should be determined by negotiations between the parties.

Axar.az reports this was stated by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

"During the decision to accept Jerusalem as Israel's capital, the President (Donald Trump) said that the final decision on the border will be made clear after negotiations between the parties (Palestinian-Israeli)," the secretary of state said.

Pompeo said Israel did not violate international law by building settlements in Palestine.
