The withdrawal of US troops from Syria completed

The process of withdrawal and dislocation of US troops from northeastern Syria completed.

Axar.az reports that US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper said these words.

The minister said there would be 600 US troops in Syria, but that number would be increased if necessary. The Pentagon chief also did not rule out that the number of US troops in Syria could be reduced if European allies send their troops to the region:

"If an allied NATO member sends 50 troops, I can withdraw 50 more troops from the region."
