Sargsyan's property is confiscated

Armenian Prosecutor General's Office has rejected lawyer Amram Makinyan's complaint against former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

Axar.az reports that Sargsyan's lawyer has informed about it.

On January 10, the Special Investigation Service completed the preliminary investigation into the case of the third Armenian president, Serzh Sargsyan. The former president is accused of embezzling or participating in the embezzlement.

According to the investigation, Serzh Sargsyan took advantage of his official position as president and occasionally seized $ 1 million from a group of officials. His property is expected to be confiscated.
