US President Donald Trump's plot to assassinate Suleiman had been planned for seven months earlier.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif.

Qasem Soleimani, SEPAH's Jerusalem brigade commander, was killed on January 3 as a result of a plane crash into Baghdad, the Iraqi capital.
