We do not accept Russian President Vladimir Putin's attempts to write history again in the European People's Party.
Axar.az reports this was said by Manfred Weber, a member of the European Parliament from the European People's Party.
"Although the Soviet Union suffered major losses during World War II, its soldiers displayed a heroic example, and we must not deny that the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact led to this war," Weber stated.
It should be noted that the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, signed September 3, 1939, after Putin's humiliating statement of Poland's ambassador to Germany, spurred the Soviet Union and fascist Germany to divide Europe into two spheres of influence.
