On January 21, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Suma Chakrabarti in Davos.

Axar.az informs that, the meeting highlighted the improvement of the investment climate in Azerbaijan in recent years, highlighting successful tax and customs reforms, simplification of administration, activities of ASAN and DOST agencies, and the digitization of public services.

The sides exchanged views on the projects of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the priority areas in our country.

It was noted that the bank has great potential for further expansion of its activities by taking advantage of the favorable investment climate in Azerbaijan.
