Foreigners must be prohibited to purchase land - Putin

The sale of national lands to foreigners in Russia may be constitutionally prohibited.

Axar.az reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin supported this idea at a meeting with a working group on changes to the constitution. Russian actor Vladimir Mashkov has spoken about banning the sale of foreign lands to foreigners.

Putin said in response to Moshkov: "I like the idea. Let's give the lawyers a proper assessment of this proposal."
