Elections started, 7000 compete on 290 seats

Iran's parliamentary elections started.

Axar.az reports this information was given by the Iranian Interior Ministry. All polling stations throughout the country have already been opened.

Seven thousand candidates are fighting for 290 mandates in the election.

The main advantage of the Iranian parliament is currently the reformers. Experts predict that conservatives will win this election. This is particularly the case when the Iranian Constitution Protection Council does not allow a large number of reformist candidates to stand for election.
