UN Security Council extended sanctions on Yemen

The UN Security Council adopted a resolution to extend the sanctions to Yemen for another year.

Axar.az reports that 13 out of 15 UN Security Council members voted for the sanctions imposed on Yemen. Russia and China abstained from voting.

Note that sanctions on Yemen have been applied since 2014.
