Will Putin's presidency be reset by referendum?

If the authorities of the president are clarified as a result of the constitutional amendment, then the juridical logic of the presidency requires to re-calculate the presidential cycle.

Axar.az reports this was stated by Vladislav Surkov, ex-secretary of the Russian president.

"Thanks to new authorities, it will be a different kind of presidential institution. The limits of the current president cannot be attributed to him. If the government does not go for a new calculation, it will be unlawful. This is my personal opinion,” he said.
