US President Donald Trump has asked Saudi Arabia to increase oil production and squeeze Russia into the market.

Axar.az reports this information was spread by Politiko newspaper. According to the report, Trump promised to support Saudi Arabia to increase oil production, but in return received a promise from Riyadh that oil prices should not hurt US oil companies in any way.

Earlier, it was reported that an oil union would be established between the United States and Saudi Arabia.
