Coronavirus death toll in Iran has reached 2,077

The death toll from the coronavirus in Iran has reached 143 over the past day.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Ali Reza Vahabzadeh, an adviser to the Iranian Minister of Health. He said the total number of deaths from the coronavirus was 2,077.

Vahabzadeh said 2,206 people had been infected with the coronavirus over the past day.

A total of 27,017 people have been infected with the virus in Iran.
