Turkish, Uzbek presidents discuss fight against virus

The presidents of Turkey and Uzbekistan discussed cooperation in the fight against the novel coronavirus in a phone call on Saturday.

Axar.az reports citing Turkish media.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Uzbek counterpart Sevket Mirziyoyev spoke on other bilateral and regional issues as well, according to Turkey's Communications Directorate.

The two leaders also exchanged greetings on Eid al-Fitr, the festival marking the end of Muslim holy month of Ramadan, set to start tonight in Turkey.
