President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella.

Axar.az reports that in his letter, the President sent his sincere congratulations and wishes to his counterpart and his people on behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the national holiday of the friendly Italian Republic - Republic Day.

He also expressed hope that the high-level dialogue and cooperation between the two countries in the political, economic, trade, energy, industrial, educational, cultural, defence and other fields would continue to develop successfully through our joint efforts.
