Axar.az reports that the statement came from Leyla Abdullayeva, head of the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, on Twitter.

"Armenian armed forces targeted civilians living in the villages of Tovuz region along the state border of Azerbaijan and Armenia. The aggressive and terrorist nature of Armenia has re-emerged. Put an end to the aggression."
