Ilham Aliyev expressed condolences to Lebanon

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolences to President of Lebanon Michel Auna.

Axar.az presents the text of the letter:

"Dear Mr President,

I was deeply saddened by the news of numerous casualties and destruction in the horrific explosion in Beirut.

At this difficult time, I express the solidarity of the Azerbaijani people with the Lebanese people. The Republic of Azerbaijan will provide financial assistance to the friendly Republic of Lebanon in order to eliminate the consequences of the tragedy.

I offer my deepest condolences to you, the families of the victims and the Lebanese people, and wish a speedy recovery to the injured."
