According to the Azerbaijani side, Armenia fired rockets from Gorus, Baird, Vardenis, and Cermukh regions far from the conflict zone, ignoring international law.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Leyla Abdullayeva at a briefing for journalists. She said that unlike Armenia, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have warned the population living in the occupied territories to stay away from the fierce fighting.

"Armenia is deliberately targeting civilians and infrastructure facilities. As a result, 24 civilians have been killed and 121 injured since September 27. More than 300 houses and civilian objects have been severely damaged. Among the dead are women and children".
