Our honorary consulate in Kharkov came under fire

The Honorary Consulate of Azerbaijan in Kharkov issued a statement on the shelling of the consulate building tonight.

Axar.az reports that the consulate building at Yaroslavl Mudri 7 was set on fire at 2.30 tonight.

"Six shots were fired at the consulate building. As a result, windows and doors were broken. No one was injured as no one was in the office at night. The consulate's surveillance cameras recorded two young men with guns resembling silenced pistols.

A criminal case has been launched in connection with the incident. Police in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv is investigating the incident.
