Over the years, Azerbaijan has greatly strengthened its army, acquired weapons and trained fighters. At the same time, it has maintained good neighbourly relations and partnerships with Russia, especially in the military-technical sphere.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Mikhail Alexandrov, an expert at the Center for Military and Political Studies at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations.

"Armenia did not do that for a long time, then Pashinyan came, and the chaos started in general. Of course, Aliyev took advantage of this situation. He needed to resolve the Karabakh issue. He prepared well, calculated everything correctly and, as a result, achieved his goal," Alexandrov said.
