Lukashenko spoke with Lavrov about Karabakh

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko praises Russia's role in resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Lukashenko during a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"I would like to congratulate you on the events in the Caucasus. Thanks to Russia, the war and deaths in Karabakh stopped. In principle, we have come a long way to normalize relations in the Caucasus, and this is a very positive sign. Belarus supports the issue from this point of view," he said.
