French gov't does no't recognize the independence of Karabakh

The French government does not recognise the independence of Karabakh.

Axar.az reports French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Zacharie Gross wrote on Twitter.

"I think one thing should be abundantly clear to all by now : The French government recognises the independence of its Parliament.

It does not recognise the independence of Karabakh," French Ambassador said.

Note that French Senate, then French Parliament, adopted a resolution "On the need to recognize the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh."
