Exchange of bodies on principle of “all for all” agreed upon

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said an agreement was reached with Azerbaijan on the exchange of the prisoners of war in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the basis of the principle of “all for all”.

Axar.az reports he noted that the bodies of over 600 Armenian servicemen have been recovered from the conflict zone since November 9:

“The return of POWs is the most important issue. Here we have some progress, we have agreed upon the principle “all for all”. By the way, not only those captured during the war, but those captured before the war must be returned”, Pashinyan said Saturday during a Facebook live.

He noted that the bodies of over 600 Armenian servicemen have been recovered from the conflict zone since November 9.

“The bodies of 500 servicemen are currently being identified. Most likely, we can say that these are the bodies of missing servicemen. To date, 135 bodies have been identified and handed over to relatives,” the Armenian PM added.
