Ilham Aliyev expressed condolences to Indonesia

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolences to His Excellency Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia.

Axar.az presents the text of the letter:

"Dear Mr President,

The news of numerous casualties and destruction as a result of the powerful earthquake on the island of Sulawesi shocked me.

On behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my deepest condolences to you, the families and relatives of the victims, and the friendly people of Indonesia in connection with this tragedy, and I wish the injured a speedy recovery.

Rest in peace!".
