From Ankara to the Baku-Ashgabat memorandum -

We welcome the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan on joint exploration, development, and development of hydrocarbon resources of the Dostlug field in the Caspian Sea.

Axar.az reports that these statements were reflected in the statement of the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

"We want this agreement to strengthen the friendship between the two countries, benefit the friendly and brotherly peoples of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, and bring strength and stability to the region," he said.
