At present, projects are being prepared in the direction of Nakhchivan, as well as border checkpoints with Armenia. This corridor is one of the most economically favourable corridors for the region. Negotiations are underway. Once this direction is determined, new posts will be opened.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the chairman of the State Customs Committee Safar Mehdiyev at a press conference today.

"After the decisions of the commission and the government, there is a possibility of opening a customs post with Iran. This will most likely be Khoodaafarin's gateway. It is impossible to say the exact time."
