NATO was not a party to the Karabakh war.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg in response to a question from an Armenian youth at a European college in Brussels.

In response to a question, Victoria Muradyan claimed that Turkey, a member of NATO, has provided active military support to Azerbaijan in the recent Karabakh war.

The Secretary-General welcomed the cessation of hostilities in connection with the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and expressed support for political efforts to end the war.
