Mr President, thank you for accepting me. It is a great pleasure and honour to meet you again in Baku. As you mentioned, we had to postpone our visit due to my coronavirus infection.
Axar.az reports that the statement came from Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili during a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on May 5.
"But I am glad that we are in Baku today. You said that we have perfect relations and our relations last for centuries. I want to repeat what your father once said in Tbilisi (Georgia) - fate has determined and we are lucky that we are neighbours, Georgians and Azerbaijanis peoples are neighbours. This is our destiny. We are very close and interconnected," he added.
