Bayramov discussed border tensions with Lavrov

On May 13, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov.

Axar.az this was reported by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

Thus, the ministers exchanged views on the tension on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.

The sides stressed the importance of resolving any tensions through political and diplomatic means.

The ministers stressed the need to implement trilateral statements to ensure peace in the region.
