I congratulate the Azerbaijani Army and its Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev on the liberation of Karabakh.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who addressed the Azerbaijani parliament.

He prayed for God's mercy to the martyrs of the Karabakh war and expressed his condolences to his family:

"Turkey stood by Azerbaijan in this holy war. We will continue to stand by Azerbaijan. Let the world know that we will continue to stand next to Azerbaijan."
