Azerbaijan welcomes NATO`s this role - Hajiyev

Azerbaijan has taken active initiatives to develop relations with NATO.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, at the international conference "Azerbaijan's contribution to Euro-Atlantic peace and security."

He noted that Azerbaijan welcomes the role of NATO in ensuring and supporting international security and is committed to the principles of partnership in existing agreements with the organization.
