Lavrov's statement on Karabakh: Moscow played a key role

Russia, along with other co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, continues to assist Azerbaijan and Armenia in strengthening mutual trust.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the IX Moscow Conference on International Security.

"Russia has played a key role in ending the war in Karabakh. Moscow has done a lot to restore peace in the South Caucasus. We, along with other co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, continue to help the parties build trust and implement humanitarian projects."
