Ilham Aliyev expressed condolences to the Chinese leader

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter to President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.

Axar.az presents the text of the letter:

"Dear Mr Chairman,

I was deeply saddened by the news of numerous casualties and destruction as a result of the severe floods in Henan Province.

On behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my deepest condolences to you, the families and relatives of the victims, and the friendly people of China in connection with this tragedy. I wish the injured a speedy recovery."
