Aliyev to Erdogan: We are with brotherly Turkey

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolences to President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Axar.az presents the text of condolences:

"Dear Mr President,

My dear brother,

We are deeply saddened by the news of severe forest fires in different parts of brotherly Turkey and their consequences.

I am confident that thanks to the decisive steps taken by your government under your leadership, the determined people of Turkey will soon overcome this catastrophe.

Today, as always, the government and people of Azerbaijan are in solidarity with the brotherly people of Turkey.

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my deepest condolences to the families and relatives of those killed in the devastating fires and wish the injured a speedy recovery."
