Axar.az reports that the statement came from Pakistan's ambassador to Azerbaijan Bilal Haye during the opening of the Pakistan Cultural Center at the Azerbaijan University of Languages.

"We are happy that the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan is here. This is a special event for me because the Pakistani embassy has made great efforts to open this centre. This centre will help develop Pakistani culture, diversity and Urdu language in Azerbaijan. If we want strong people's ties, the two countries must learn each other's language well. These are our small steps for future relations. We hope to achieve greater success in the coming months," the ambassador said.
