A telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavushoghlu.

Axar.az reports that the ministers exchanged views on the latest situation with forest fires in Turkey, operations to extinguish fires and prevent their spread, and the participation of Azerbaijani firefighters in these operations.

Cavusoglu thanked Azerbaijan for its assistance to Turkey in extinguishing forest fires.

Jeyhun Bayramov reiterated that Azerbaijan has always stood by brotherly Turkey and is ready to provide any assistance to Turkey in these difficult times.
