A turning point in the history of Azerbaijan - Bayramov

September 27 has become a turning point in the history of Azerbaijan. In response to yet another aggressive attack by Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan launched a counter-offence using its right to self-defence.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States in Istanbul.

"The illegal occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenia, which lasted for three decades, has ended".

Bayramov also stressed the principled position of the Turkic Council, which supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

"On this occasion, I would like to thank all member-states of the Turkic council for this support," the foreign minister said.
