Work on the Zangazur corridor has begun - the President

We have begun large-scale work to establish the Zangazur corridor in Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in an interview with Turkish Anadolu Agency.

"A railway, a highway and an airport are being built in Zangilan. Therefore, I think we will do work on our lands in two years. Because the volume of work here is very large. The length of railways and highways in Armenia is 40 kilometres. This can be done in 1-1.5 years. We are waiting for it," the President stated.
