Azerbaijan and Pakistan will sign an agreement

Azerbaijan and Pakistan are working on a preferential trade agreement that will increase trade between the two countries by reducing customs tariffs.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Azerbaijani Ambassador to Pakistan Khazar Farhadov.

He said that Pakistani companies, including pharmaceutical companies, have ample opportunities to engage in production in Azerbaijan:

"I suggest that local investors explore the possibility of establishing a joint venture in the Alat Free Economic Zone near the port of Baku."
