I appreciate this decision of Aliyev - Pashinyan

For the first time, direct contacts will be established between the Armenian and Azerbaijani defense ministers.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan while answering journalists' questions online.

"This initiative came after we accused each other of violating the ceasefire. I appreciate the decision of the President of Azerbaijan. Only time will tell how effective it is," Pashinyan said.
