On November 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with President of the Republic of Tajikistan Imamali Rahman in Ashgabat.

Axar.az reports that it was noted at the meeting that political relations between the two countries are satisfactory. The sides exchanged views on expanding economic and trade relations, considering transport opportunities, and further strengthening cooperation within international organizations.
