Turkish Security Council convenes: Armenia discussed

A meeting of the National Security Council will be held today under the chairmanship of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The main agenda will be relations with Armenia in the new era, the events in the Eastern Mediterranean, tensions between Ukraine and Russia and the fight against terrorism.

At the meeting, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavushoghlu will brief on the Armenian process.

Today, a meeting of the National Security Council was held under the chairmanship of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The meeting, which lasted 4 hours and 45 minutes, discussed the new era of relations with Armenia, the events in the Eastern Mediterranean, tensions between Ukraine and Russia and the fight against terrorism.

The meeting focused on the mechanisms created by Turkey and Armenia through constructive and sincere efforts to strengthen peace and stability in the South Caucasus, and the importance attached to their improvement.
