Russia: delimitation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border

The launch of the delimitation process on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border will help prevent border incidents.

Axar.az informs that the statement came from Deputy Director of the Information Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexei Zeytsev.

"We continue to work closely with our partners to implement the statement adopted by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia in Sochi on November 26, 2021. This document also envisages the establishment of a bilateral commission on delimitation and further demarcation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border. "and the launch of the delimitation process will help prevent border incidents and, in general, will contribute to the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan," he said.
